A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S Hollywood Road, Houma, LA 70360. (Per CDC requirements/local regulations all visitors must wear face covering in building at all times). Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Jared Alexander Steward; daughters, Ariel and Rachel Stewart; stepson, Jonathan C. Peters; grandchildren, Zarontay and Zyriel Smith; brothers, Johnnie Coleman (Sherry) and Floyd Stewart; sisters, Clorissa Epps and Joan Hartfields (Leval); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Williams and Bertha Stewart Coleman (Rev. Johnnie "Price Jr." Coleman).
He was a US Army veteran.
