Amanda’s Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Greater Liberty Baptist Church, 1230 Desire Street, New Orleans, LA, from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM. Burial in McDonoughville Cemetery, 520 Hancock St., Gretna, LA. Officiating, Dr. Calvin W. Woods, Jr.
She leaves to remember and cherish her memories; two children, Amelia A. Collins and Ahmad G. Collins, a daughter-in-law, Gaynell Collins; three grandsons, Alijah G. Collins, Jevion Q. Collins and Ahsan G. Collins; a granddaughter, Iriya A. Mckeever; two sisters, Amelia Johnson and Lynette J. Joseph; a godchild, a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mildred G. Johnson, two brothers, Joseph F. Johnson and Phillip N. Johnson and a sister, Lois E. Saulter.
