Amani Calais

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church 908 Washington Street Patterson, LA. Pastor Patrick Jones, Officiant. Burial will follow in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

She leaves to mourn her loving memories her mother, Vanessa Calais and her companion, Larry Griffin, Sr. of Patterson, LA, three brothers, Tarence (Jennifer) Calais of Denton,TX, Jospeh Henry and Ja’Harryus’ Griffin, both of Patterson, LA, a sister, Ma’Kiy’la Griffin of Patterson, LA, her two nephews, Landen Calais of Denton,TX and Jersin Henry of Patterson, LA, two nieces Aubrie and Harper Calais both of Denton, TX, her grandfathers, Michael (Leslie) Calais, Sr. of Houston, TX and Ernest Knight Jr. of Youngsville, LA, her aunt/like a mother, Gerlisa Calais of Houma, LA and her aunts, Hope (Jerome) Rudolph of Patterson, LA, and Alisha (Patrick) Bridges of San Antonio,TX, her uncles Michael (Tawinna) Calais of Magnolia, TX, Andrew Grogan of Houston, TX, Christopher (Leila) Grogan and Anthony Grogan both of  Youngsville, LA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, along with other relatives and friends.  

Amani was preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Faith Ferguson, her father, Ceaser J. Grogan, grandmothers, Catherine Calais and Chriss G. Knight and her cousin, Jerome Rudolph Jr.
