

Visitation will be observed on Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 8:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Good Hope Baptist Church 908 Washington Street Patterson, Louisiana, with the Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. beginning at 9:30 AM. Immediately following the AKA Memorial Service, the Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Services will begin. A Celebration of Life, celebrating the life of Mrs. Ann Deloris Dudley Williams will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Patrick T. Jones, officiating the services. Entombment will follow funeral services in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson, LA.
Ann was employed and retired from both the Lakewood Medical Center, now Teche Regional Medical Center and the Teche Action Clinic as a Nutritionist and Dietitian. She was a faithful member of the Good Hope Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Patrick T. Jones, where she was a member of many auxiliaries including the Sunday School where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, the Couples Ministries, but most of all Ann especially enjoyed singing in the choir where she helped to lift up the name of the Lord. Fraternally, she was a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorrity, Inc. and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Until her health began to fail, Ann continued after the passing of her husband, the late Allen Franklin Williams, to serve as the sexton and secretary of the Shields Cemetery in Patterson.
Memories of Ann will forever remain in the hearts of her son, Armon Dudley Williams; a nephew she helped to raise, Mark A. Williams of Patterson, LA; one sister, Mildred Ricard of Amite, LA; one brother-in-law, Raphael Williams and his wife Ann of Chula Vista, CA; one sister-in-law, Betty J. Sidney of Glendale, AZ and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Franklin Williams; her daughter, Aileen Janell Williams; her parents, O. D. Dudley and Maggie B. Dudley and two sisters, Shirley Griffin and Norma Jean Ricard.
