Anthony Hester

He will be remembered for his kind spirit, his love for family, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.

Anthony leaves to cherish his precious memories his son, Justin Raymond; stepson, Delwin Barabin; stepdaughters, Hope Cook and Heather Barabin; brothers, Nolan Hester Jr. and Alvin Smith; sister, Paula Smith; and godmother, Beatrice Verrett. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan Hester Sr.; mother, Dorothy Mae Hester; brothers, Henry Hester and Ron Keith Hester; and sisters, Lurenda Hester Clark, Angela Hester Boyd, Laura Hester Toussaint, Linda Raymond, Gwendolyn Smith, Debra Hill, and Charlotte Richard.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service celebrating Anthony’s life at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Kingdom Impact Global Worship Center, 1951 LA-182, Raceland, LA. Burial will follow at Brooklyn Lane Cemetery.

Anthony’s presence will be deeply missed, but his love and legacy will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
