Audrey Evelyn Thomas-Mart, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, LA died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 5:10 a.m. Visitation will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gray from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Burial will follow in the Halfway Cemetery in Gray. She is survived by: two sons, Amos Eric Thomas (Jacqueline Wood) of Houston, TX and Chad Mart of Gray, LA; five daughters, Evangeline Collins, Lauren Bush, Phadra Navy, Chrishauna Mart and Andrea Hayes all of Gray, LA; sister, Laura T. Lee of Gray, LA; brother, Earl (Victoria) Thomas of Houston, TX; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husbands; Berwick Hayes and Clarence Mart; daughter, Angel Mart; parents, Julius and Laura Paul-Thomas; siblings, Rev. Wilbert Thomas, Rev. Jules Thomas, Rev. Ulysses Thomas, Otis Thomas, Naomi T. Jack, Ruth T. Franklin and Warren Thomas, Sr.; and two grandchildren, Baby Lauren Harris and Torey Harris.
