Bernard Baker, Jr., 29, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Schriever, LA, died Saturday January 26, 2013, at 3:16 P.M. Visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral time at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia United Methodist Church, 128 Johnson Ridge Lane, Schriever, LA. The burial will be in the Blue Lily Cemetery in Schriever, LA. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Ashley Sims-Baker; his parents, Barbara and Bernard Baker, Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Hazel Johnson; four daughters, Breontai, Brianna, Samayh and Sha'kaylah Baker; and three sisters, El' deltress Baker, Dina D. Baker, Brionne C. Jackson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Louise McGee; his maternal grandfather, Dallas Sims; and his paternal grandfather, Nolan Baker.
