Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 524 Andrew St., Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Karen Williams Miller; two sons, Calvin Amacker and Calvin Miller Jr (Andrea Smith); four daughters, Catrina Miller (Gullian Austin), Lashawn Miller (Justin Patterson), Crystal Miller and Siedah Miller (Rontrell Robertson); one brother, Freddie Miller III; five sisters, Betty Bivens, Carolyn Miller, Marian Miller, Lois Simmons (Charles) and Debra Miller (Bryan Ezell); one uncle, Samuel Shephard (Charlotte) and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Sr. and Earlis Carter Miller; three brothers, Freddie Jr., Edward Joe and Ernest Miller Sr; and one sister, Mary "Chubby" Miller.
