Charles Allen Tate, Sr.

Visitation will be observed Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church 113 Federal Avenue Morgan City, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Dr. C. F. Smith, Sr. will officiate the services.

 Memories of Charles will forever remain in the hearts of his two sons, Charles A. Tate, Jr. of Slidell, LA and Kevin Tate of New Orleans, LA; four daughters, Arnise Tate of Atlanta, GA, Yolanda T. Thomas (Gregory, Sr.) of Houma, LA, Jada L. Tate-Gray (Lonnie) of Morgan City, LA and Carla Wilkerson of Lafayette, LA; to his second marriage he gained another daughter, Dedra Parker of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Debra Gray (Eddie) of New Orleans, LA and Gwendolyn Smith of Houston, TX; eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his first and second wife, Gloria Singleton and Betty Ann Tate and  his parents, Willie Tate and Vivian Brown O'bert.
