A proud 2013 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School, Bubba continued his education at Unitech Academy, graduating in 2019 as a Certified Medical Assistant. He dedicated his professional life to helping others through his work at Terrebonne General Health System, where his compassion and warmth made a lasting impact on both patients and coworkers.
Bubba shared life with his companion, Spencer Lirette, and was blessed with beloved friends like Aidan, Nicole Ted, Pierceton, and Parker. He cherished time spent with his favorite grandma, Joan, and enjoyed the community he found among his many Discord friends. An avid gamer, he found joy, challenge, and connection in the virtual worlds he explored. His signature farewell — “Booyah, signing off” — will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Melissa and Kirby Martin, and Mary and Christopher Carrington; his brother, Jacob Carrington; sister, Briana Chiasson; grandmother, Joan Harris, stepbrother, Kai Martin; nephews, Killian and Christopher Chaisson; and niece, Ravyn Chiasson.
He is preceded in death by members of both his mother’s and father’s families, including Morris Peter Guidry, Becky Guidry, Donnie Harris, and Luke Martin; and Robert E. Lee Carrington and Mary Carrington.
Bubba’s memory will live on in the laughter he inspired, the friendships he nurtured, and the love he gave so freely. His presence was a gift, and his absence is deeply felt.
