Clara Castle, 90, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Morgan City, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at 4:35 p.m at Teche Regional Medical. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Houma, and from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at Church of Christ in Gibson on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with burial in Southdown Cemetery. She is survived by:four sons, James (Gloria) Johnson, Edward, Jr. (Betty), Isaac, Sr. (Sandry), and Rodney Castle; three daughters, Julia Castle, Evella Bradford, and Clara Johnson; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Edward Castle, Sr., her parents, Thomas and Molly Johnson; one son, Martin Castle; four brothers; Arthur Martin, Fred, Albert, and Thomas Johnson; four sisters, Julia and Rose Johnson, Rosa Sis and Bertha J. Redmond; and two grandchildren, Isaiah and Jonas Castle. Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
