Clarence ""Poppy"" Clark, III., age 46, a native and a resident of Franklin, La., died Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Centerville, LA at 8:00 AM. Dismal/Funeral services will be Friday, November 14, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street in Franklin, LA. at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the St. John (Pecot Street)Cemetery in Franklin, LA. ""Poppy"" leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Carlene Gibson-Clark of Baldwin, LA; his father, Clarence Clark, Jr. of Franklin, LA; one son, Darius Gardon of Franklin, LA.; six daughters, Kearius Gardon, Engwan Joseph, and Keiondra Gardon all of Franklin, LA, Khadijah Butler of Verdunville, La., Victoria Burrell of Baldwin, LA, and Sierra Burrell of Cameron, NC; four brothers, Tarence (Shaquita) Clark, Sr., Joseph (Monica) McDaniel, and Clarence Reed all of Franklin, LA and Travion Reed of Colorado Springs, CO; four sisters, Donna Wilson and Loretta C. Clark both of Franklin, Johnett Clark and Kai Clark both of Lafayette, LA, eleven grandchildren, two special nieces, Donecia Wilson (Nathan) and Ariel Wilson both of Franklin, LA and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wilson-Clark and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
