Clovis Bergeron, 81, a native of Carencro and a resident of Morgan City, La., died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 3:35 AM at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana Visitation will be Saturday, October 24th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial in Morgan City Cemetery (St. Anthony) He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife; Ethel D. Bergeron of Morgan City, five sons; Norman Bergeron of St. Augustine, Fl., Ronald Bergeron of Fernadina, Fl., Wayne Brigette, & Ralph Brook both of Patterson, La., & Clovis Bergeron of Houston, Tx., eight daughters; Julia Barard of Scott, La., Mary Bergeron, Linda Bergeron, Rox Ann Bergeon, Johnell Bergeron and Gail Granger all of Morgan City, La., Reatha Hilliard & Patricia Hall both of Patterson, a brother; Gervis Bergeron of Houston, Tx., and a sister; Beatrice Bergeron of Opelousas, La. twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren and a godchild. Preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers, two daughters and one son.
