Debra Ann Marie Bourgeois

Family and friends of Debra are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Greater St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church 315 Sixth Street Franklin, LA from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Pastor Ricky Smith, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Debra is survived by Catherine Colbert, who reared her after her mother, Sedonia Lightfoot passed; her daughters, Luciana Bourgeois Scruggs, Monica Lightfoot, Tonya Hunt and Kimoyona Lightfoot Payton, whom she raised as a daughter; her sons, Nathan Bishop, Nicholas Bishop, and Freddie Hunt; two brothers, Herman Elliot and Henry Shaw; her sisters, Belinda Lightfoot, Angela Lightfoot-Lee, Damitra Harris, Katina Carter, and Adrian Ardoin; her companion, Donald Brown, significant other, Patricia Hunt, and a godchild, Malaysha Carter, eighteen gradchildren, six great grandchildren,  along with a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sedonia White-Lightfoot, her father, Herman Lightfoot, an uncle, Norman Lightfoot, sisters, Felicia Harris Peters and Cynthia Lightfoot, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents and an unborn son.
