Derina Denise Watson, 52, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Thursday, September 27, 2013 at 1:31 p.m. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Houma, and from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Saturday, October 5, 2013. She is survived by: her mother, Gerina Mitchell-Victor; one son, Bryan Kentrell Watson; one daughter, Martha Latrease Watson; two brothers, Eugene, Jr. and Hank Watson; one sister, Rosalyn Watson; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her father, Eugene Joseph Watson, Sr.; stepfather, Alvin H. Victor; maternal grandparents, Rance and Martha Mitchell; and paternal grandparents, Daniel ""Buddy"" and Alice D. Watson. Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
