Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 9:00AM until funeral time at 11:00AM at St. Luke Baptist Church 3755 Bayou Black Drive, Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow at New Rising Sun Cemetery.
Memories of Elaine will remain in the heart of her children, Keith Carter (Alberta), Kerry Carter and Karen Ray (Clarence). Brothers, Willie Morgan, Sr., Freddie Morgan, Jr. Sisters, Joyce B. Lane, Maxine M. Dillard, Linda Batiste. Godson, Graham Douglas, twenty grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Batiste. Mother, Elizabeth B. Morgan and husband, Freddie Morgan, Sr. Son, Johnny Carter, Jr., and daughter, Kathy A. Carter. Sisters, Freddie Mae Mitchell, Jeanette M. Brown, Barbara Brown, Joan Broussard, Judy Batiste and Jerry Holmes.
