Eldrich James Granger, Sr., age 62 a native and a resident of Morgan City, La., died Thursday, November 7th at 8:55 PM at his residence. Eldrich was a veteran of the United States Army. Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 415 Union St., Morgan City, La., from 8:00 AM until funeral service at 10:00 AM. He is survived by his mother, Fredia Mae Granger of Morgan City; one son, Mr. Eldrich James Granger, Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Lori M. Granger, of Harvey, La.; one brother, Michael Granger of Morgan City; one sister, Evelyn Bogan of Morgan City; one grandson, Jai Granger of Fayetteville, NC; one Godchild, Dr. Desi Rae Valentine and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Glodis Granger, Jr, and his brothers, Joseph ""JayGee"" Granger and Otis Lee Granger; God mothers, Selena Brown and Vera Johnson.
