Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Saturday, December 17, 2022,beginning at 8:00am until funeral time at 10:00am at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, La 70360. Burial will follow at the Southdown Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Elwood Diggs Jr.; daughters, Keiarea Diggs and Danielle Bynum (Kendrick); brothers, Michael Sr. and Sterling Diggs; sisters, Alma Thomas, Betty Smalls, Emily Harvey and Willie Mae Rice and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nathaniel Jr. and Emily Moses-Diggs; brothers, Alton, Charles, Clifford and Nathaniel Diggs III., and sister Jackie Netters.
