Emmanuel Jenkins, Jr. 89, a native of Liberty, MS and resident of Gray, LA died Friday, March 15, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Houma and Saturday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March, 23, 2013 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memories; one daughter, Brenda Jenkins; five sons, J.C., George, Gregory, Cedrick, and Clayton Jenkins; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Decloria White-Jenkins; son, James Jenkins; daughters, Marie Helen J. Sims and Valerie Jenkins; parents, Emanuel, Sr. and Melissa P. Jenkins; three sisters, Lovie Lee, Freddie Martin and Myrtis Reese; and two brothers, Andrew and Charles Jenkins.
