Eugene Louis Hebert

Eugene Hebert, age 87, a resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center at 10:09 AM. Eugene was employed by the St. Mary Parish School Board for more than 18 years. Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:00 AM, rosary at 10:15 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memory; five daughters: Muriel Hebert Madise (Rodney), Esther Hebert Calloway (Freddie), Theresa Hebert Banks (Michael), Sharon B. Hebert and Eugenia Hebert Santana (Arthur Allen) all of Morgan City, La; one son, Mark Eric Hebert (Oreatha Monroe) of Patterson, La; one brother, Joseph (Ruby) Hebert, Sr., of Morgan City; two sister, Thelma Hebert of Seattle, WA and Hazel Lopez of Patterson, La; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one godchild, Brenda H. Bartley of Morgan City; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Mae Walker-Hebert, a daughter, Francis Ann Hebert, his father, John Duhussard Hebert, his mother, Marie Silvonie Reaux-Hebert, a sister, Ethel Hebert Melanson; and two brothers, Hilton John Hebert, Sr., and Jessie Paul Hebert.
