Fred Williams, III

Visitation will be observed on Friday December 31, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA from 11:30 AM until funeral services at Noon. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Burial will follow funeral services in the Morning Pilgrim Church Cemetery. 

Memories of Fred, III will forever remain in the hearts of his children, Shannon (Anthony) Johnson of Jeanerette, LA; Denetra (Jeremiah) Asomugha of Houston, TX;  Fred (Lanyeka) Williams, IV, of Lafayette, LA; Tessa Williams of Dallas, TX, Christina Williams of VA, and Fred L. Williams of Houston, TX; fourteen grandchildren; Shateria Williams, LaShalle Williams, Ambernae Williams, Deonte Williams, Ashton Asomugha, Tatyana Charles, Jassmine Charles, Tae'zjuney Williams, Fred Williams, V, Diyon Williams, Lyrick Williams

Jazmine Williams, Mason Williams, and Jorren Williams; one great-granddaughter, Alonae Francis; five sisters, Ida Sigue of Patterson, LA, Mandy Brown of Franklin, LA, Elaine (Clarence) Williams and Lorraine Williams both of Verdunville, LA, and Vanessa (Gary) Francois of Lafayette, LA; two brothers, Eddie Patton and Aaron Patton of Patterson, LA: an aunt, JoAnn (Harry) Benjamin; a sister-in-law, Mary L. Jordan (late, Edward Jordan); a brother-in-law, Joseph  Key Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Fred, III, was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce K. Williams; parents, Fred "Shosho" Williams, Jr. and Lille Bell Dugas Williams; a brother, Danny Williams; niece, Andrea N. Williams; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Sigue, Sr. and Homer Brown, Jr. and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
