Frederick M. Ayers, Jr., age 69, a native of Columbus, Oh. and resident of Verdunville, La., died Monday, February 6, 2012 at 12:45 PM at Teche Regional Medical Center. Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, La., at 11:00 AM. Frederick leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Edna Elair Ayers of Verdunville, La; fours sons, Scott Sorapuru of Covington, La., Rodney Elair and Jamal Ayers both of Franklin, La., and Muhammad (Diane LaRae) Ayers of Atlanta, GA; three daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Angela) Metoyer of Columbus, OH., Mrs. Phillip A.(Mara Ayers) Braziel of Atlanta, GA., and Mrs. Clay (Saajida-Yaasmeen) Leon, IV of New Orleans, La; one brother, Charles Ayers of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
