Galeand Raymond Theriot, age 71, a native and resident of Franklin, LA, died Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 9:08 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital following a long illness. Visitations will be held at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, December 12, from 9:00 a€"" 11:00 a.m. The funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. The burial will take place at the Franklin Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Theriot was survived by a devoted friend, Treasure Ann Williams of Franklin, LA; three sons, Galeand (Aisha) Theriot, Jr. of Jasper, TX, Raymond (Francis) Theriot of Adrian, MI, and Marcus Williams of Sioux City, IA; four daughters, Mrs. John (Rita) Jones, and Holly Marie Theriot, both of Belleville, MI, Sharon Faye Theriot of Baldwin, LA, and Destiny Denise Williams of Sioux City, IA; two brothers, Larry (Bobby) Theriot of Franklin, LA, and Dennis Theriot of Houston, TX; seven sisters, Mrs. Murphy (Earline) Armelin of Baldwin, LA, Mrs. James (Alnetta) Easton of Carencro, LA, Mrs. Eddy (Wanda) Jones of Katy, TX, Mrs. Don (Sandra) Depass, Mrs. Melvin (Andrea) Jackson, and Joanne Theriot Knighten, all of Franklin, LA, and Mrs. Marvin (Pamela) Abraham of Fontana, CA; a goddaughter, Shirlene Brown of Franklin, LA; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
