Ivory ""Hooker"" Thomas, age 101, a resident of Patterson, La. died April 3, 2010 at Patterson HealthCare at 1:27 AM following a long illness. Ivory was a veteran of World War II, receiving the Victory Metal and also a member of American Legion Post in Patterson, La. Visitation will be Saturday, April 10th, at Zion Chapel AME Church in Patterson, La. from 10:00 Am until funeral service @ 1:00 PM. Burial will be held in Home Industrial Cemetery, Patterson, La. Hooker leaves to cherish his memories, three sons; William Johnson, Sr. of Schriever, La., Rousell Thomas, Jr., and Matthew Thomas, Sr., and a daughter, Hattie Wilson all of Patterson, La., and thirty grandchildren.
