Tears immediately came to  my eyes, when I saw Jane 's death notice.  I worked with Jane at Wyandotte Elementary in the eighties.  Kindness, caring, wisdom , strength, smiles for all,  comes to mind.  Working together we shared many conversations.   I loved Jane and to show my love I crocheted her an aghan with red roses in granny squares--I never made that afghan for anyone else, but Jane.  Angel Jane is in Heaven with the Lord, I've no doubt. God Bless your family  for an unforgettable human being.  I imagine a multitude of angels greeting Jane  in her Heavenly Kingdom.  Bye, Sweet Friend. Hope we meet again in the future. To my blessed Sister, Jane Elizabeth Long, we are missing you already. We have always love and  respect you. In my eyes you were the walking Bible. You lived in God word and prayed with love & power. We share many good moments with you. I thank God for the 71 years we had you as a sibling. You always said  this verse 2 Corinthians 5:6, Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whiles we are at home in the body, we are absent from The Lord: 7. For we walk by Faith, not by sight:8. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with The Lord.. That is what happen on  Monday, April 27, Your Spirit & Soul  left the body when you died and went back to God. You left us to go to a place where you must be qualify to enter. So farewell to you my sweet sister. God gave you much wisdom on how to handle your sibling. You past  down much knowledge to us and we love you for it. My heart is broken but my Spirit is Happy because you made it in and we are grateful to our God. Be bless my Sister, Mom, Friend and the most important title: Woman Of God. Amen.

I was deeply saddened upon hearing of the passing of Sis. Jane Long.  She was a good
friend and truly a Christian  individual.  I will always remember her through the words of the Christian Hymn " Jesus you"ll the center of my Joy "  that was the theme of her life.  My prayers and condolences are with the family.  She will be missed and never forgotten.

I am praying for all of you.  In God's arms of comfort in peace.  Rejoice in your memories and love that has no end.

Our heart felt sympathy to Miss Jane's family!!  Jane was a baby sitter and friend to my children for many years.  She was so kind, caring, and loving and a true example of God's love and Peace.  I never heard Jane say an unkind word about anyone.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and dear friends.
