Jessie Mae Dyer, age 85, a resident of Baton Rouge, La., and a native of Patterson, La., died Monday, March 11, 2013 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, La., at 8:45 PM. Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2013 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson, La. Jessie leaves to cherish her memories; three sons, Lawrence Dyer, Jr., of North Carolina, Johnel Dyer, Sr., of Franklin, La., and Donovan Dyer of Baton Rouge, La; five daughters, Joyce Dyer Johnson of New Orleans, La., Mary Dyer of Castro Valley, Calif., Anita Dyer of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Joseph (Gina Dyer)Newton and Bernardine Martin both of Baton Rouge, La; two brothers, Alfred Woods of California and Lewis Woods of Thibodaux, La., and a host of relatives and friends.
