Joe Ann Paul

Visitation will be observed on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 8:00 AM until the recitation of the rosary beginning at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be begin at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, LA, with Fr. Herbert Bennerfield serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow the Mass Services in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

Mrs. Paul was a Educator of the St. Mary Parish School System and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Memories of Joe Ann will forever remain in the hearts of her one son, Edison Joseph Paul, Jr. of Houma, LA; two daughters, Sheila Paul Lewis of Patterson, LA and Esna Paul-Melson and husband, Thad Melson, Jr. of New Orleans, LA; one brother, James Duchan and wife, Loretta of Patterson, LA; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Joe Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Duchan, Sr. and Alice Griffin-Duchan, one brother, Joseph Duchan, Jr. and a sister, Althea Paul.
