Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at New Vision Family Worship Center, 6036 W. Main St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Crescent Farm Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons Derek Walters, Keon Jackson and Joseph Ross, Jr.; daughter, Tiffany Walters and Gwendolyn Morris; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; brother, Daniel Ross; sisters, Daisy R. Douglas, Aselina R. Tember and Dolly Myles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Woods Ross; son, Kristian Walters; parents, Daniel, Sr. and Alzetta Maize Ross; brother, Arnold Richardson; sister, Edwina R. Rainey.
