Joyce Juanita Williams

Joyce Juanita Key Williams, 62, the daughter of the late Joseph Key, Sr. and Juanita "Hilda" Claville-Key, a resident and native of Jeanerette, LA, passed away on Saturday October 8, 2016 at the Lafayette General Medical Center at 4:55 PM.

Visitations will be observed on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Park Avenue Church of Christ in Franklin, LA, from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 12 Noon. Brother Cornelius Lewis will officiate the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morning Pilgrim Cemetery in Jeanerette, LA.

Memories of Joyce will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Fred Williams, III; one son, Fred Williams IV and his wife Lanyeka of Lafayette, LA; two daughters, Shannon Johnson and her husband Anthony of Jeanerette, LA; Denetra Asomugha and her husband Evangelist Jeremiah of Houston, TX; one brother, Joseph Key, Jr.; one sister Mary L. Jordan; two aunt, Louise Clavelle  and Mary L. Clavelle both of Jeanerette, La.,  and four  uncles, Delaney Key and his wife, Delores, Charles Claville all of Jeanerette, LA and Chester Caville of Chicago, IL., and Timothy Hills of Beaumont,TX; ten grandchildren, Shateria Williams, LaShalle Williams, Ambernae' Williams,  Deonte' Williams, Ashton Asomugha, Tatyana Charles, Jassmine Charles, Taezjuney Williams, Fred Williams, V and Diyon Williams and one great-grandchild, Alonae Francis; god-mother, Shirley Davis of Jeanerettte, LA; one brother-in-law, Danny Williams and his wife, Susan of Missouri; five sisters-in-law, Elaine Ferguson and her husband, Big Jack of Verdunville, LA, Vanessa Francois and her husband, Gary of Lafayette, LA, Mandy Mae Brown and her husband, Homer of Franklin, LA, Lorraine Williams of Centerville, LA and Ida Bell Sigue of  Patterson, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Joyce  was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Key, Sr. and Juanita "Hilda" Claville-Key; two brother, Donald Ray Key and Tommy Lee Key and one sister, Juanita Key, her maternal and paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Claville and Richmond and Theresa Key.
