Kathy Warren

A public viewing will be conducted from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at the New First Corinthian Baptist Church, 1114 Church Street, Houma, LA 70360. Viewing will resume on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the Crozier Cemetery. 

Memories of Kathy will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Qiana (Lamont) Nixon, Anshelikie (Tracey) Barker, Ciera Warren, Emma Warren, Sean (Dionne) Warren, Sr., Ellis H. Warren, III, Tevin (Phyllis) Warren; siblings, Edward Swing, Kenneth Swing, Tiki Swing, Samuel Franklin, Cementres Wolf, Jeanette Jones, Mary Brown, Leola Swing, Mary Messiah, Albertha Carter, Stephanie Fusilier, Donna Swing and Amy Swing; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis H. Warren, Jr.; son, Christopher D. Warren, parents, Arthur "Snook" Swing and Abbie Mae Taylor Swing; siblings, Robert Swing, Moses Swing, Paul Swing, Freddie Swing, Arthur Swing, Jr., Mable Stanfield, Yvonne Saulsberry, Melvina Swing, Verna Mae Harding, Mabel Williams, Nancy Harvey, and Earline Lewis; paternal grandparents, Wash and Nancy Swing and her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Taylor.
