Visitation and funeral services will be observed from 1:00 PM until funeral time at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Lamont was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Ann Jones, Ernest Johnson and Allen (Black) James. Great grandparents, Lena James, Julia Navarre Livas and Roland Livas, Sr. Uncle, Wallace Washington, Jr., mother-in-law, Rebecca (Becky) Sothern and grandfather-in-law, (PaPa Jamie) James Sothern.
