Visitation will be observed on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 12 Noon until funeral services at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA 70380. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing).
Memories of Laverne will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Hubert (Martha) Hayes of Patterson, LA and Trina (Frank) Gamble of Morgan City, LA; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Laverne was preceded in death by her son, Rodney J. Hayes; parents, Sylvester Fitch and Alice Washington; and her siblings.
