Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2 at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St. in Houma with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his two daughters, Harriet Lewis (Timothy) and Patricia McKenzie (Schuyler); four grandchildren, Chandra Lewis, Timony Armstead, Kiera and Kahmeron McKenzie; two great grandchildren, Kaliyah McKenzie and Karrie Summers; brother, Lawyer Williams, Sr.; sisters, Eva Williams, Elizabeth Perio, Creacy Marshall and Dorothy Coleman (Willie) and a devoted friend, Laura Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edna Mae Williams; son, Craig Williams; granddaughter, Kayla McKenzie; parents, Eddie and Alice Williams; brothers, Clarence, Sr., James, Sr. and Paul Williams; sisters, Gertrude Harding, Eddie Mae Williams, Zenobia Williams, Daisy Leblanc and Rosa Washington.
