Visitation will be observed on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street in Franklin, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. Officiating, Pastor Allen Randle. Burial in the Bayou Sale Cemetery.
Cherished and divine memories will forever be remembered by his three daughters, Jaqueline Hawkins and Evelyn Hawkins both of Franklin, LA and Lana (Yerol) Marks of Jeanerette, LA; one son, Louis Hawkins, Jr. (Debra) of Franklin, LA; one brother, Preston Hawkins of New Orleans, LA; three sisters, Lizzie Henderson, Brenda Williams (Bobby), and Addie Mae Carr all of Houston, TX; five grandchildren as well as several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Preston Hawkins and Georgia Reed; one daughter, Zelda Payton and one brother, Isaiah Hawkins.
