Lucille hobbies include cooking, housekeeping, babysitting, fishing and sitting outside on the porch with her dog Duke.

She leaves to cherish her many memories a stepdaughter; Lashawn Johnson of Houma, LA, one brother; Earl (Dorothy) Harding of New Orleans, LA, four sisters, Marion (Henry) Jones, Genevieve (Ernest) Lewis both of Gray, LA, Rose Castle (Leroy Goodwin) of Dularge, LA and Nicole (Troy) Smith of Houma, LA, her beloved pet dog, Duke, three grandchildren, Jasmine Johnson, Devante Johnson, and Travon Johnson, one grandchild; Dior Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Nevis, parents, Annie Mae Harding and Earl Harding, Sr, paternal grandparents, Henry and Ollie Harding, maternal grandparents, Spergon and Rosie Howard, two brothers, James Harding, Sr. and Louis Harding and one nephew, James Harding, Jr.

Guests may call upon the family for a time of visitation on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home from 11 am until service time at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the St. Luke BC Bayou Dularge Cemetery.
