A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2766 Hwy 311, Schriever, LA 70395. Burial will follow in New Rising Sun Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Dyantherlyn L. Jones; godchildren; Trisha Harris, Nija B. Robinson, Gayle Wolfe and Enoch Pledger; brother, David Holmes (Rementry); sister, Sarah Holmes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon W. Jones; parents, Webster, Sr. and Laura Moore Holmes; brothers, Webster, Jr., Chester, Rev. Isaiah, Sr. and Clarence Holmes, Sr.; sisters, Agnes Miller, Lula Anderson, Myrtle Wolfe, Bertha Griffin and Betty Holmes; godchildren, Bruce Moore and James Pillot, Jr.
