Melodie Adele Dark-Goff

Melodie Adele Dark-Goff, 36, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 5:02 p.m. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Eagle Wright Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery. She is survived by her husband: Torrance D. Goff; her parents, John and Alma Adams-Dark; her maternal grandmother, Daisy Brown-Adams; one son, Cameron Mikhail Goff; one daughter, Khira Simone Goff; one brother, Jonathon Christopher Dark, and companion Rasheka Thomas; three uncles, Aaron Dark, John D. Adams, Jr. and wife Viola, and Charles Adams and wife Linda; and eight aunts, Linda D. Carter, Mary Louise Marshall and husband, Aaron, Elitha Growe, Carolyn Simmons and husband Joseph, Darlene Allen and husband Alex, Damaris Hayes, Avis Barthelomew and husband Nathan, and Arleen Color and husband Ricardo. She is preceded in death by: her paternal grandmother, Susie Dark; maternal grandfather, John Adams, Sr.; paternal great-grandparents, Sylvester and Marie Nicholas-White; maternal great-grandparents, Joseph and Elitha Walker-Brown.
