Michael Lee Jennings

Visitation will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home, 715 Sixth St., Morgan City, La., from 2:00 PM until funeral service at 3:00 PM.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories; three sons, Nicholas Levingston of Houston, TX., Wayne Escort of Morgan City, LA., and Jacoby Jennings of Lafayette, LA; daughters, Leslie (Lamont) Nixon of Houma, LA., Vacherie August of White Castle and Pauline Jennings of Lafayette, LA; four brothers, Johnel (Daisy) Jennings, Kevin Jennings, David Jennings and Bobby (Patricia) Jennings all of Patterson, LA; three sisters, Patricia (Murray) Bridget, Kathy (Joseph) Jennings and Pam (Leon) Simmons all of Patterson, LA; eight aunts, Geraldine (George) Clark of Berwick, LA., Juanita Griffin, Tina Ruffin, Paulette (Francis) Boulanger, Debra (Billy) Washington, Thelma Dugar, Cora Jennings all of Patterson, LA., and Joyce Jennings of Baton Rouge, LA; six uncles, Richard (Vivian) Dugar of Houston, TX., Robert (Sonya) Dugar of New Iberia, LA., Marvin (Claudette) Dugar, William (Stephanie) Dugar nd James Williams all of Patterson, LA; a godson, Timothy Williams, a special cousin, Brenda Dugar, twenty-eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, Sr  and Mary Louise Jennings, his maternal grandparents, Ivory and Hilda Dugar, paternal grandparents, Samuel and Victoria Jennings, a brother, Joseph Jennings, Jr., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
