

Visitation will be observed on Saturday October 1, 2016 at the Siracusaville Recreation Center, 1110 Grace St., Morgan City, LA., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery. The Pastor Samuel Calhoun will officiate the services and Pastor Ron Bias will serve as the Eulogist.

Hunter of Morgan City, LA; two sons, Brent Charles and Bennie Charles both of Morgan City, LA; two daughters, Yosheka Carbins of Houma, LA and Andrea Carbins of Morgan City, LA; three brothers, Grant Wesley and his wife Justine of Patterson, LA, Joseph Hunter and his wife Laura and Melvin Lee Hunter and his wife Leora all of Lafayette, LA; seven sisters, Doris Wiggins of Belle Rose, LA, Margaret Dugar and her husband Arthur, Wanda Jackson and her husband Raymond all of Houston, TX; Stella Lewis and her husband Clifton of Verdunville, LA, Linda Dearing and Mary Helen Hunter and Frankie Mae Broussard and her husband James all of Lafayette, LA; seven grandchildren,Quincy Lewis, II, Jaxson Carbins, Kaine Charles, Bre'onte Charles, Benntlie Charles, Madison Harvey and Brailei Charles; three god-children, Cotina Batiste, Terre'yan Johnson, and Rogneisha Elliott; one brother-in-law, Floyd Carbins and his wife, Ethel Marie of Patterson, LA and five sisters-in-law, Margie and her husband Alvin, Jackie Carbins, Dorothy Livas and Tonia Chapman and her husband Denver all of Morgan City, LA and Jeannie Wesley of Patterson, LA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Minister Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Hunter, Sr. and Dorothy Wesley Hunter Gray; maternal and paternal grandparents, Tom and Dolly Wesley and Grant and Elma Hunter; four brothers, Albert Sylvester, Alfred Wesley, Jr., Milton Hunter and Sidney Hunter; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Hunter and Dorothy Nell Hunter and two nephews.
