Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 15, 2020 at 11:00 A. M at Jones Funera Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA. Apostle Alvin Davis, Sr. will officiate. Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday August 15, 2020. 

Memories of Monica will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Derwin D. Hamilton; her two children, Keith Anthony (Cassie) Davis and Shermanique (Preston) Williams all of Franklin, LA; six brothers, Apostle Alvin (Janet) Davis, Sr. of Charenton, LA, Edmond Brian Davis, Rodney L. (Karen) Davis, and Mark Davis all of Franklin, LA, Curtis Davis of Sunset, LA; Kevin (Kelly) Davis of Lafayette, LA; three sisters, Sandra (David) Hart and Sarah Hopkins both of Franklin, LA, Felicia Davis of Lafayette, LA and Melinda (Kevin) Narcisse of Coteau, LA; eleven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Monica was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice Davis Jackson and Alvin Cooks; her step-father, Dophy Jackson; her maternal grandparents, Nelson Davis, Sr. and Beatrice F. Davis; paternal grandparents, Agnes Batiste Cooks and Ham Cooks, Sr.; two aunts, Marion Tillman Wilson and Patricia Milton and her uncle, Robert Davis.
