Myrtle Louise Watts Paul, 80, a native and resident of Verdunville, LA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Legacy Nursing Health and Rehabilitation of Franklin in Franklin, LA., at 2:05 PM.

A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 am until 10:45 am on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Myrtle will be laid to in the Little Zion Church Cemetery in Verdunville, LA at 10:45 AM with Jasmine Fuslier leading the graveside services. A virtual ZOOM service will be held on Saturday August 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM.

Watts and wife, Mechelle of Duson, LA and Curt Patrick Paul of Verdunville, LA; a daughter, Teah Maria Paul and fiance,' Jeremey of Lafayette, LA; a stepson, Melvin Joseph Paul and wife, Diedra of La Porte, TX; a brother, Robert (Betty) Watts of Houston, TX; a close friend, Lillian (Henry) Butler of Verdunville, LA; one step grandchild, two step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lewis Paul; her parents, Robert Watts, Sr. and Edith Kirt Watts and her siblings, Laura Bailey, Ella Watts, Arthur Watts and Edward Watts
