Nancy C. "NAY" Rounds

Nancy ""NAY"" Collins Rounds, age 92, a native and a resident of Thibodeaux, La., responded to the Lord's call and entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at her residence at 7:15 AM surrounded by family. Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Magnolia United Methodist Church, 128 Johnson Ridge Lane in Thibodaux, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial in the Blue Lily Cemetery in Thibodaux, La. Nancy leaves to cherish her memories; five children; Stella Rounds Roscoe and Stanley Rounds(Ethel) both of Chicago, Ill; Shirley Rounds, Rosalie Rounds Brown and Louise Rounds Smith (Alvin) all of Thibodaux, La; one adopted daughter, Rosemary Shanklin of Thibodaux, La; twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-eight great grandchildren, twenty-two great-great grandchildren, one godchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Gaines Collins, her father, Smith Collins, her husband, Edward Rounds, Sr., her siblings, Smith Collins, Jr., Sam Collins, William Collins, Ernest Collins, Phillip Collins, Dan Collins, Ruby Collins Joseph, Sarah Collins Bonvillian, and Classie Collins; four children, Edward Rounds, Jr., Classie Rounds, Mary Rounds and Gerald Rounds; two sons-in-law, Willie Brown, Sr., and Homer Roscoe; one grandson and three great grandchildren.
