Rodney David King

Visitations and funeral services will be observed on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 10:00 AM at Moses Baptist Church 1032 Canal Blvd., Thibodaux, LA 70301. Burial will follow at the church cemetery on Ledet St., Thibodaux, LA. Repast will be held at the St. Luke Community Center 300 E. 11th Thibodaux, LA 70301

Rodney is survived by his sons, Rodney Lewis of Houma, LA; Christian (Rachel) Lewis of Richmond, VA; and Cordell Wilson, Thibodaux, LA. Daughters, Desiree Waller, Houston, TX; Dayshaun (Travis) Lovely, Houma, LA; Rosheba Waller and Portia Dumas, Thibodaux, LA. Stepson, Jontue Hawthorne, Houston, TX; stepdaughter, Rashanda Robinson, Houma, LA and twelve grandchildren. Mother, Barbara Waller King; stepfather, Roosevelt Nevers, Jr.; brothers, Taaka (Tyshanell) King and Kerry (Bethany) King. Sisters, Sharon (Nero) Davis and Roneka (Joseph) Jackson all of Houma, LA and a host of relatives and friends. 

Rodney was preceded in death by his sons, Dontrell and Terrance Waller. Father, Junius (King Pin) King; brothers, Ronald, Kevin, Michael and Mitchell J. King; paternal grandparents; Willie, Sr. and Louise King and maternal grandparents; James and Ethel Waller.
