Ronald ""Shorty"" Joseph King, 51, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at 7:35 p.m. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by: his mother, Barbara Waller-King and companion, Roosevelt Nevers, Jr.; his companion, Cindy Vining; son, Rondell M. Young; daughter, Yekema N. Jenkins and companion, Christian Matthews; two sisters, Sharon King-Davis and husband, Nero, and Roneka King and companion, Jamal Jackson; four brothers, Kevin, Rodney, Taaka and wife, Tyshanell and Kerry and wife, Bethany; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his father, Junius King; twin brothers, Micheal and Mitchell King; paternal grandparents, Willie, Sr. ""Bud"" and Louise ""Lalu"" King; maternal grandparents James and Ethel Waller; and nephew Dontrell D.
