Rose Dell Franklin

​Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Drive in Houma. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

​She is survived by her sons, Kerry (Amanda) Franklin, Terry (Cynthia) Franklin and Kevin (Felecie) Franklin; daughter, Regina Franklin; twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; three godsons, James (Beverly) Hawkins, Giovanni and Giovante Jarvis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

​She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Franklin, Sr.; sons, Willie L. Franklin, I., Willie L. Franklin, Jr., and Kenney D. Franklin, Sr.; daughter, Lula Franklin Leggett; grandson, Kenney Dwayne Franklin, Jr.; parents, James, Sr. and Albertha Calloway Jackson; brothers, James, Edward, Abner, Singelo, George, Sr. and Clinton Jackson; sisters, Almeater J. Hawkins, Mary and Mamie Jackson.
