A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in the Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Yolanda Washington and Dana Jacobs; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Howard (Audrey), Anthony (Carolyn) and Joseph Davis; sisters, Betty Huggins (Desmond) and Sonia Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel, Sr. and Dorothy Brown Davis; brothers, Daniel, Jr. and Kenneth Davis; sister, Brenda Davis; paternal grandparents, Lem Davis and Elizabeth Scott; maternal grandparents, Levi Brown and Cora Jones.
