Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Monday, November 13, 2023 at St. James Baptist Church 6319 S. Bayou Black Dr., Gibson, LA 70356 from 9:00AM until funeral time at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Bogen Conley and children, Rufus Conley, Jr.,of Gray, LA and Cherita Johnson (Troy) of Gray, LA . Brother, Felton Conley, Sr., (Debra) of Four Corners, LA and sisters, Bessie Mae Lumpkin of Franklin, LA; Ernestine St. Junius of Baton Rouge, LA; Lilly Bell Randall of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step father; J. C. White and mother, Mary Conley. Brothers, Herbert Kinchen, Alfred Richard and devoted adoptive father; Rev. Ike Delmus.
