My grandfather Saul Bateman (aka) (PAW PAW PAT) He was the best Grandfather in the world (Paw Paw) we are going to miss you but  we know that you are in a better place with the love of your life Margaret Phillips tell our grandmother we love her and missing  her too you and the love of your life are back together again I know y’all are smiling down on all of us love and missing you fly high until we meet again Take your rest

We send our condolences to the Bateman Family.   I have known Cousin Pat for over 60 years.  Possibly I may be one of his oldest leaving cousins.  His Uncle John, Aunt Eva and Cousin Bee always spoke of him as being a quite settled and passive young man.  Didn’t talk much but always carried a smile upon greeting you. He has always lived in the community of Berwick and at one point in time he was our neighbor on Oregon Street.  He was always the go to person for my Mom when she needed mechanical repairs on her car.  We all new where to find him for assistance.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  He is one of the last legacies of the Simpson/Bateman heir.  Our memories of him and others descending from that family will linger on in our hearts and souls.  The Gates of Heaven awaits him and his love ones arms are open to greet him.  We too, shall miss him.  God be with you and your family.  The Simpson’s, Bruner’s, Johnson’s and Renthrope’s
