Selathian F Miller, Sr. affectionately known as “Cousie” entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2026. He was born on July 6, 1976, to the late Beverly Trosclair. He was the oldest of two children and the grandson of Robert and Genevieve Trosclair who loved and helped raise him as their own. He was also raised alongside his aunts, who became more like sisters to him, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. At an early age, Selathian accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Morning Star Baptist Church by the late Rev. M.L. Johnson. It was at this time that his faith became a quiet, but steady foundation in his life. Selathian was a proud 1994 graduate of Ellender Memorial High School and continued his education at Louisiana State University from 1994-1996. While attending LSU, he pledged the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, where he was given the nickname “Slick. “He was a dedicated employee at Domino’s in Houma, where he formed lasting relationships. While working there, he met Leslie Nelton, and the two were united in marriage in 2002. From this union, they were blessed with two sons, Selathian, Jr. “Peep” and Ian Miller “Meme”, who were the pride and joy of his life. Selathian had a deep and infectious love for music, movies, video games and sports. He enjoyed listening to Sirius XM and Pandora. He created lasting memories with his sons and cousins watching WWE, WrestleMania, or SmackDown at home or attending events in person. He was a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, LSU Athletics, and the Atlanta Braves. Selathian reignited his faith when he joined Greater New Salem Baptist Church in Houma, where he faithfully served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. In 2025, he was appointed Secretary of the Deaconry, a role he carried out faithfully until his passing. Despite facing many health challenges, Selathian maintained a positive spirit. He never allowed his condition to hinder him from helping others, always offering a kind word, encouragement or assistance. He will be deeply missed for his kindness, compassion and genuine love for others. He truly had a special way about himself. In 2019, Selathian reconnected with a friend, Shantellie Bingham, and they remained inseparable from that time forward. Though he may be gone from our sight, the love he gave so freely will remain in our hearts forever.
