​Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 146 Banks St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Union Benevolent Cemetery.

​She is survived by her sons Frank (Ruth) Collins, Johnny Collins and Troy (Connie Collins; daughters, Terry (Lonnie) Simmons and Debbie (Gary) Joshua; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; brother, Jerome (Sharon) Singleton; sisters, Joyce Williams, Ethel Stewart and Geraldine Jenkins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

​She was preceded in death by her son Merlin Collins; parents, Isaiah, Sr. and Mary Dominic Singleton; brothers, Isaiah, Jr., John and Rudolph Singleton; sisters, Virginia Singleton, Barbara Jean Delandro,  Adelia Neville, Lucille Gray and Lorraine Robinson; paternal grandparents, John and Roberta Singleton; maternal grandparents, George and Virginia Dominque.
